The seller is selling a piece of paper for A$8, and A$7 postage (the piece of paper is an ad - a "promotional flyer" - for a DVD). eBay has been notified of this scam, yet the seller remains on the site.
The seller states "I will not refund your money... I will no longer accept any excuse." In other words, eBay permits this seller to (in blatant terms) refuse a refund when caught in a scam.
The seller announces that he has 100% positive feedback. I have drawn eBay's attention to this scam and yet the seller is permitted to claim complete customer satisfaction.
The Message Board lists hundreds of scams by eBay sellers. eBay is, obviously from the comments on this Message Board, reluctant to pursue these matters.

The seller states on the site: "I'm just selling a flyer advertising the movie". That is, the seller is selling an ad for a film. There is no item here, merely a piece of paper, for which the seller charges $8 and $7 postage.
In terms of this 'deal' no doubt people in the community know such 'deals' as a scam.

Not sure what 'deal' you are talking about
You said
the seller lists the 'item' as a flyer only NOT A DVD (in capital letter even)
The description again says it is a flyer/advertising movie
Not sure what the question is suppose to be?
Heading says what it is
Description says what it is
Where is the deal or the scam?
Only going off what you have written
So a buyer KNOWS from the heading AND the description exactly what they are getting
The cost of the piece of paper
The cost of the postage
And the buyer, knowing these things chooses to buy anyway?
More money than sense, but the buyer's business if that is how they want to spend their money

There are also sellers who sell empty boxes (and state so in the description).
Sometimes a potential buyer might have the item and not the box, so the box is convenient.
Some potential buyer might also like that movie you mention so much that they want the flyer. Maybe they already have the DVD. There are people who have their rooms decorated with flyers and posters of movies.

Where's the scam - the seller has stated it's a flyer - not a dvd.
No matter what this seller says - ' no excuses ' doesn't go down unless it's a change of mind.
But the 7 buck postage is a bit over the top. 😀

It's been pointed out to you that it's NOT a scam, the seller very clearly states in both the title of the listing AND the description that the item is a flyer.......sheesh.
Edit. G'day Dom, snap.

Sorry - hadn't realised you had repeated yourself. lol

Hi Padi - I'd buy it but the postage is a bit rough. 🙄

Where is the scam, sweetheart
Did you buy the item, expecting a dvd but got what was in the heading and the description, because you read neither?
Or is it sour grapes from the competition?
eBay do not read the message board
You have stated on both your threads that the listing and description say exactly what is being sold and the cost
You have twice failed to show where the scam is
You not liking something does not make it a scam
Maybe learn how things work before posting nonsense
