eBay email to friends not working

I have tried to send a message to a friend about an item on eBay they were interested in. However ebay email to friends not working with Mozilla version 29 any more.

There is a known problem with that right now, so just use your usual email to send the item number or link, with cut and paste.

Ebay have already acknowledged that this problem exists and they've publicly announced that they're currently working in an attempt to fix it.
