CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP DATE MY BIRD DECANTER?

HI sorry about the caps.

The decanter looks like it has silver plated trim but I am not positive. It is just too shiny inside. The glass has one or two small imperfections. It has had it's pin in the hinge replaced with two screws.

Any idea on when these would have been produced please.

Hi Terri,

1950s to 1970s at a guess. I could be way out. they were popular back to the 1880s. You may also like to search for Claret Jug to see if you can find any matches. The ones with cranberry coloured bodies are very popular, but yours is cute, too.

I have no idea Lakeland but the other two I found are listed as silver plated and I am beginning to believe this one is too. I don't know what type of metal silver plating was put on.
