Help to ID these little pigs? dogs? please.

Asking on behalf of a friend, who was given these in 1969, not sure if they were new or not then. Any ideas much appreciated, thanks

I have never seen them before...but I like them. Pigs for sure.

I presume no others have any marking?

I would guess they are Aussie...but who by, I don't know
