Info on porcelain statue base.

Hello knowledgeable and wise people.

Since you all learned me about ugly little clay baskets marked with Remued, l thought l might venture over here to ask yet another question.

I have spent almost an hour web searching so l really did try to help myself first.

Porcelain statue of two people sitting on a old love chair.

Mark on the base is a crown with a G below it.

Any ideas or leads as to who the maker is?

Thank you.

I am no expert on porcelain, but this does not look like an old mark to me - the font and crown image look all wrong. To me this looks like a fairly recent - 1970's? mark to suggest Dresden / Meissen type ware.

If you follow this link

you won't find one the same, but there are similar sorts of marks which come from fairly recent times. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will come along.

Thank you for the links and help.

Yes, agree with around the 70's. They don't look really old.

Tah muchly.
