Hello I am not a coin person but by Googling have found the following

http://www.coincommunity.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=95813

There has also been a previous thread on this board that mentions Nauru coins

http://community.ebay.com.au/t5/Coins-Stamps-Collectables/Coiners-10-Rememberance-Day-Coin-from-Macq...

From what I can gather from googling  there is no "Bank of Nauru" - so I am not sure how they can be legal tender. (Apparently since the Bank went in to liquidation Nauru has existed as a cash economy.) They also appear to be brass so there would be no intrinsic  metal value. The general consensus here in Australia is that these commemorative coins are a ploy to get people on to mailing lists - don't know if that is your case. There are certainly some for sale / sold on eBay, though none it would appear from Oz sellers. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will come along.; though most of the Coin people have gone elsewhere, some still do occasionally look in.

I'm positive they're non-legal tender coins

As far as I am aware, the situation of Nauru has not changed since I posted the information in those two older threads, with respect to coin issuing: the Nauruan government has not now, nor ever has, given itself or any other authority the right to issue coinage in the name of Nauru. SInce independence, the legal tender currency on Nauru has been the Australian dollar. There is, legally, no such currency unit as the "Nauruan dollar".

Therefore, every single artifact claiming to be a "Nauru coin" is a fantasy and not legal tender, neither on Nauru nor anywhere else.

This does not mean that these items are not numismatic, or not collectable. But it does mean that, technically, they are not "coins".

Hi All,

thank you for your answers, yes i have read previous posts. I mean if this coins are non- circulating legal tender in other words commemorative coins or just a fantasy issue. There were more simmilar coins issued but they were silver or gold and first time I see Aluminium-bronze type. See here :
