Channel 7 slammed for bumping Ash Barty match for Nick Kyrgios
seems to me they chose nick in hope he would have one of his melt downs.
controversy sells better than skill.
sad fact of life.

I see a number of current players have said the punishment to Tomic was too harsh. They probably feel this way because it could happen to them. Some ex-players (including past champions) support the fine and said this stance with Tomic is overdue. But they have nothing to lose. I have seen past interviews with Tomic where he said he didn't care about tennis, or his performances, and only played in first rounds to get the prize money. He even rubbed it in the interviewer's face by saying he earns more than them for not trying and losing.
Personally, I too think Tomic has got what he deserves and I hope they don't allow him to disgrace tennis any longer. Where they hit him will hurt because it is right in his pocket.
