I remember going to one north of Adelaide and my father getting out of the car to shoot super 8 footage and some guy on the megaphone mounted on the feeding vehicle yelling at him to get back in.

Bullen's lion safari

we lived in enfield (went to school at gepps cross primary and enfield high)

i have very vague memory of a lion on the loose down towards grand junction road, cant remember details but might have been a circus escapee.

there used to be nothing much north of grand junction road in the 60's, circusses often setup out there.

I lived in Golden Grove in the very first development and went to Modbury primary school.
Then Ingle Farm and went to Ingle Farm high school, it's now a primary school.
The Lions would escape from Bullen's sometimes too
