Ebola case diagnosed in US

Ebola is the most dangerous threat to the world, much more dangerous than ISIL, yet we do very little to stop it.  The number of cases is increasing exponentially, and by start of next year it may infect up to 1.4 million people.

If the patient is male, white, heterosexual, he'll be treated well.

yes, definitely for real, but the situation doesn't sound terribly threatening, and he's not the first person to be treated for ebola in the US

so let me get this straight ..... you dont want the australian governement to put our truops into iraq a medium risk opperation as you dont think they have a good enough exit stratagy. BUT... you do want them to put our aid workers into a high risk situation where infection has a kill rate in the 90% without having a suitable exit stratagy. im glad your not my boss

That is *insert the harshest, NON-interpersonal hostile comment you can think of* thing I've seen you say (maybe).

A man who took a commercial flight from Liberia that landed in Dallas on Sept. 20 has been found to have the Ebola virus.

I've just informed the person below (in liberia, via skype) that she's a male, white, and heterosexual.

So glad you asked.

Ebola has been around for almost 40 years.  Only when it has reached white people has the world taken any notice.  Absolutely disgraceful.

It wasn't until AIDS affected a  WHITE, HETEROSEXUAL, MALE that USA and the world took any steps to deal with it.  Before that, thousands of others had died, and tens of thousands were ill.

The shameful attitude of the Australian Government and the nasty words of Bishop about our response to this disaster will disappear into the stratosphere the minute an Australian is affected.  There are doctors and others who have asked to go to Africa, but our government has refused permission.
