OMG that's what my sister and I used to do to make our hair straight.  We would sleep with panty hose and stickey tape on our hair and wake up with "helmets" of hair :^O

I know that Colic, I was being pedantic.  Durex is a brand of sticky tape and a brand of condoms.  I know of a woman in her seventies who was visiting London in the 1960s, who went into a shop and asked for some Durex.  At that time, seventies was old, and the reason for condoms was not discussed, so she was very embarassed at the reaction to her request.
