My Superannuation fund received a low income super contributions of $21.35 from the ATO.
I now have $408.99
My financial future is insured and I should no longer be disappointed every day I wake up.
I better fess up I also have a preserved fund of $8.03
Thanks to John Howard and his casualisation of the workforce every time I have had some work for a few months I get to receive a letter that tells me how many fees I have paid to some superannuation fund with a nice little graph of small incremental growth that is followed by a rapid decline to zero.
Some even ask for me to deposit more money.
Such jolly jokers

I had to cash in a super back in 2000 due to financial hardship.
So I did have a super fund that was increasing annually but there is no point starving to death with the warm glow of knowing that my sister was going to get thousands of dollars
