haha good one. I'm glad P-Puss is back with her owners. Typical of cats though. Where there's activity they have to get in and investigate.

Thats what worries about lilli she will go into any car that has a window open. when the neighbour shifted I shut her inside because she kept going into the truck and may have ended up in Auckland.

Lilli vists all the neighbour to check out thier houses, thank goodness they all love her, they just wish they could pat her, the Godess does not allow pats.

Sounds like cat has an enquiring mind and likes to get about and socialise in her own way. Maybe best she doesn't like pats as she has a defense mechanism there. Glad to hear you kept her inside when the neighbour shifted.

Lilli will go to my aspergers Grandson and purr all around him

Neighbour of mine looks after aspergers children, one 13 year old came over and wanted to pat Lilli cat.

I told her she may bite so the 13 year old sat down on the grass to Lilli's level and Lilli purr all around her and the girl got in heaps of pats, neighbour and I had tears in our eyes

I love my weird cat

When I used to breed Burmese cats I sold a kitten to a family with two children, one of which was disabled, mentally and physically.  I wasn't sure how things would go because Burmese cats can be crazy sometimes.

Things went better than I ever imagined.  The kitten took to the disabled child as the child did to the kitten.  Friends for life.

Added to that, the new owners didn't tell me they had a mouse problem in the area.  After a month or two, one day they came home to nine dead mice lined up near the back step.....all caught and killed by their new pet. The mice were all evenly spaced apart and when one of the owners gingerly moved the tail of one of them, their 'fearless feline humter' moved quickly to straighten out the tail to match the rest.  Clearly it was a proud moment to be displayed to the human family.

I seldom heard from new owners of my kittens but in this case the owners were so delighted with the kitten they came back and told me how things went.  One very happy child....and very soon there wasn't a mouse to be found.  Not bad for a kitten raised indoors with parents (I owned both sire and dam) who had never had the opportunity to catch a single mouse, let alone nine.
