Target - very interesting IF true and did you know ?

Last Xmas Target refused to let the Salvation Army ring bells in front of its stores.
" recently we asked the local target store to be a proud sponsor of the Vietnam veterans memorial wall during our spring recognition event".
Received reply
Veterans do not meet our area of giving, we only donate to the arts, social groups, gay and lesbian causes and education.
If the VVM wall and veterans in general do not meet their donation criteria then something is really wrong at this target store.
Not asking for thousands just a small donation for the memorial of remembrance.
As a follow up target U S corporate HQ it gave the same response and also applies to Canada, the UK and NZ.
Target will not allow the marines to collect for " Toys for Tots" at any of its stores.
During the Iraq deployment it would not allow families of employees who were called up for active duty to cont their insurance while on military duty.
Then digging further
TARGET IS FRENCH OWNED
Is target cannot support Aussie and U S vets then why should our families spend their hard earned $$$$$ in its stores ?
All profits go to France.
Without Aussie and U S vets where would the frnch be today, probably speaking German and trading in deutsch marks.

Yes, that is deplorable.

target Australia is owned by Wesfarmers/Coles, so their profits will be shared by the Australian shareholders though.

it is not owned by the U.S. Corporation; which is why it is not mentioned in that report.

Target Australia would be getting their decision making done here.

Newstart Target Australia Pty Ltd is owned by the Wesfarmers Group and they also own Coles, Kmart and Bunnings

 Head Office for who? Westfarmers is based out of Perth
