apparently the cat was put down and tested for rabies because it attacked her - poor thing was just defending itself.

I'm glad the scratches got infected.

My cat would do the same thing to me if I kept annoying her. Heck, if I poke her more than 3 times with my toe I have to have on full combat gear and an escape route.
