I am planning a trip from the NSW far south coast (where I live) to Melbourne in early November. I will have an all adult family group of 7, including my 83yo mother, with me. I am thinking we will take 3-4 days to do it. At the moment I am thinking of staying at Merimbula (about 1 1/2hrs from home) then at Lakes Entrance but then I get stuck.
Any suggestions of where else to stay and/or things to see and do would be very much appreciated :-x

Thanks for that. They all look nice.
Anyone have any other ideas, especially of places to stay?

Hi Lurker--coming towards Melbourne from Lakes Entrance-
when you get to Sale--you can go on the Princes Hwy into Melb
past power stations etc.
Look at going along the coast (sth Gippsland Hwy-check out
Wilson Prom and Philip Island.
Hope that helps---sorry for the late reply--been at work til 4 pm.

Not sure about accommodation for your needs.
Try some Gippsland Tourist sites-.....................Richo.
