If we are going to be accused of multiple voting with no evidence then they have lost my participation.
I won't be paying any fine.
They can send me to gaol and spend over a hundred thousand dollars a year looking after me

Well I won't be voting

The system's fine as it is. The Libs probably think that by doing this it will be a disincentive for some Labor voters. There's no reason to believe voters are double dipping.
If they want reform, clean up their far right members habit of registering people in their ranks to branch stack.
