Why aren't I surprised

Labor passed a bill that would have addressed some of the disparity between politicians super contributions and those of real people.
They get 15%. Ours were to raise incrementally until they reached 12%.
The Liberal party froze the raises, apparently only temporarily but to save money now our contribution rate may be permanently frozen at 9.5%.
every politician is a self serving grub. It's not enough for them to be 3% more important than actual people. They get paid way more than they are worth. I'm sick to.death of the argument that "if you pay peanuts you get monkeys". None of these peanuts is anywhere near as good as a monkey!

15.4% actually plus retirement allowances. If you think they're monkeys, spare a thought for the general populace who, knowing they wouldn't get those super contribution increases, voted them in.

I try not to think about the swinging voters. I am sick of the cult of personality that has invaded all of the aspects of life.
People should vote on policies not personalities.
Not that I think most in public office have a personality.
