i have been on this register a very long time
re applied a few times, i'm sure i last did it in the last 2 years
i have been getting a lot of scam calls in the past week
i know the DNCR doesnt stop them
but i just recieved a call from a cold caller after money for something, i didnt let her get into her script before telling her i was on the DNCR
she said sorry and we ended the call
so i have just re done my DNCR thing
its different from the last time i did it so maybe you can get dumped or something when its updated
might be a good idea to re do your if you use a land line

it was suggested to me to get a whistle
Yes, once upon a time the whistle was used to get back at those men who would do heavy breathing and ask ladies about what colour their certain attire was. Now something considered by many to be just as offensive is us being disturbed at dinner time. The whistles work apparently. I seem to recall visiting a house years ago and there was a wistle hanging above the phone.
Below is the whistle in action. Note there is some obscene language and (CAUTION) also best to move headphones away from your ears.

Yes, you need to renew the "do not call registration" every now and then.
