"Mass Contagious demonic possession" in Peru...

Has anyone heard about or seen anything to do with this? Heaps of news outlets have reported on the story... A similar thing happened in Malaysia on the 18th April (with less school children involved) but there are supposedly 80 children mainly girls aged 11-14 still affected from in incident in Peru which started happening on the 29th April. http://www.news.com.au/lifestyle/parenting/school-life/dozens-of-children-from-elsa-perea-flores-sch... The children, all aged between 11 and 14, shared another unsettling trait — a shared hallucination involving being chased by a “tall man in black with a beard” who was trying to kill them. Since then, between 80 and 100 children from the school have been affected by what education officials are calling a mass case of “contagious demonic possession or interference”.

I have read about similar happenings in different countries and just wondered if there is a connection to some of the poisonous plants that grow in those areas.

All of those places have tropical climates and some weird plants. Could someone possibly use the juice of such a plant and distribute it where people will touch the surface (stair rails, desks and door knobs) and then wipe their mouth, or eat something before washing their hands?

There are many plants in this world that will cause halicunations, vomiting and death.

Just wondering if it was meant to be a prank or something more sinister?

That's a good theory.

Also, mass hysteria and the like...one or two faint and everyone's fainting.

Yawning is contagious.

With kids, the story gets around and then they are all "seeing" things.

Very hard to isolate fact from fiction in cases of mass-anything out of the ordinary.

Getting Rid Of Demons

The best way to cast out a demon from a home, is to contact your church. Methods used are:

1. Encircling the possessed occupant and placing your hand on their body. Pray for a 'hedge of protection' for this person. A hedge of protection that will bring on angels to this home that will chase out any demon spirits.
2. Placing religious paraphernalia throughout the home. Figurines and images of angels should be placed strategically throughout your home.
3. Bless the home with your preacher or priest with holy water and the burning of sage. The family leader should initiate the prayer throughout each room of the house and lead the demon towards an exit of the home. Your clergyman should suggest what prayers should be read.
4. People of the Catholic faith, make the sign of the cross, they call upon their faith and demand the evil entity to leave their home and go back to where it came from, in the name of God.
5. Call upon God and his Army of Angels to protect your home through prayer.
