Downgrading of Seller Statys

I have been downgraded as a seller for  "cases losed without seller resolution".  While I was on holiday in Bali I received a complaint from a buyer that his order had not arrived. When I tried to respond I found that I could not connect with eBay Australia. Two more messages arrived and the matter was settled in the complainants favour due to the fact that I could not respond. If I had been able to reply I would have told eBay that, when I could not find the item, I had ordered a copy for shipping to the buyer. Subsequent to that PayPal refunded the buyer. The buyer received the item shortly thereafter and I appealed to PayPal who, when they checked the tracking number, ascertained that the buyer had collected the record and reversed the refund. I would like eBay to remove the complaint and restore my previous rating.

Ain't gonna happen. And why are you posting on the member boards rather than contacting eBay directly?

 

You know how eBay works, you have been around for longer than I have.

 

Maybe don't sell when you're overseas?
