If that email account name has EVER been used in the past by anyone on an eBay account, that's what will come up.

You will have to open a different email account with some name that couldn't have been used before, and use that.

Sometimes eBay members may not realise they’ve logged in using Facebook or Google or similar. By doing so, they are not logging in to their existing email-based account. (So I understand.)

If I’m correct, you will need to log out, and then log in using your email account details.

If I’m incorrect and that’s not the issue, then I will gracefully wear the egg-based eyewear.
