You are not contacting ebay here. The boards are run by volunteer members like you and we have no way of knowing when you bought the generator.
You must have a receipt of some sort, especially if you paid by paypal. Go to your paypal account and see if you can locate the payment.
It is most unusual to get a guarantee unless you bought from a registered Australian business.
If you had left feedback for any of your sellers we might have been able to see who you bought from.....I am guessing that it might have been from the seller who is no longer a registered user of ebay. If this is the seller then you would have had very little chance of having a genuine guarantee and certainly no chance of getting it honoured even before they were deregistered.
