My Husband is trying to create his own account

Hi, i've been an eBay member quite a long time now. My Husband is trying to create his own account, he fills in all the information and clicks "create Account" and the page just hangs with a round progress bar. He let the page sit for about Half an hour and still hangs. Is there something special we are missing in creating a new account for him?

We ended up phoning and speaking to eBay customer support about our issue. He has his account up and running thanks.
