Who /how is bidding for me in my absence

    hi all.

              Who / how is eBay  biddin' done for me in my *absence.

             What a suprise it was to see that I had won a rare/old REVELL Car Kit.

             But suprise turned to bewilderment when I looked at the biddin' to see that I had indeed won

            the Auction... **.but at twice my last bid !

             However it was a great outcome , as I woulda easily payed the winnin' bid amount.

             I wrote to the Seller reported wot had occured   "I know nuthink " and "anyway "strange things" DO happen on eBay

             and we had a laugh !

            Little did I know.......  eBay transactions were "gunna git weirder  " !

            you'll havta wait for the next messages !

The only way this should be able to happen is if you place a proxy bid with your maximum amount and as the auction progressed your bids would have increased incrementally gainst other bidders.
