ebay message recognises "my device'" so NO paypal Password required?!? How do I restore password?

Up until recently, I had to input my Paypal password, to buy an item on ebay- now ebay says it no longer requires my paypal password.

I never agreed to rescinding the use of my password!! This is a security issue.

How do I rstore my previous buying  procedure ie purchases can pnly be made on ebay, if I input my password?

It’s this wretched One Touch™ setting. This must be disabled in order to stop the automatic PayPal login.

Log into your PayPal account. You will need to do this in the full web version, not in the app.

1. Go to Settings. 
2. Click Security. 
3. Click Update next to “Auto Login”.
4. Click Turn off.

You should also ensure you log out of PayPal rather than simply close the browser tab/window.
