Hello, can a bid be retracted without contacting the seller first? I had a bid on one of my auctions and now it has gone.

The buyer has 3 options to pick from.
If they have lied in their choice then you can report them to ebay for an invalid bid retraction.
They can do this at any time till the last 12 hours.
