I just had an item sell below the asking 'Buy it Now' cost of the item. There was no offer involved, it just sold below the asking price. This is the second time it has now occurred (but with another item).
The item is listed here https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/285477416539 at a price of $6.70, but I just received a sale notification from eBay that the item sold at $6.19 (Just a single item). There is nothing to indicate why the item sold for less than the advertised price.
Is there some sort of scam running out there I am unaware of? As this is the second time, I really see no choice other than canceling the sale, but there really isn't an item on the cancellation reason droplist to cover why the sale is being canceled.
Any advise would be appreciated.
