As the subject line suggests, why do ebay insist on the completely ridiculous policy of making the sharing of contact details against the rules? I have items for sale that people wish to ask questions about or some look at before they commit themselves to them, and not being able to give them a phone number to talk to them and organise an inspection is an absolute bloody nonsense. Seriously, this is about the stupidest policy I have seen introduced over the years, and there's been some clangers.
You people need to look at the way you do things. Ebay was great once....
