You first need to cancel off any current bids /bidders. Then you can choose "end auction early". You get a choice of reasons as to why you are ending the auction early. You will still pay eBays llisting fees you incurred ie you chose a highlighted ad or added extra pictures etc. you don't pay the other "final value fee" unless your item actually sold.
