Hoping to get some advice on a problem of my own making.
I have made an error in listing an item on a 5 day auction instead of a 24 hour auction. As it co-ordinates with an item I have on a 24 hour auction, and I hope to attract bidders who may be interested in both items,
I would like to remedy the problem and bring both auctions into ending in the same time frame. I don’t seem able to adjust the auction duration when I attempt to revise the item – I think due to the fact that I have had one bid already.
Do I need to contact the bidder and ask if they mind my cancelling their bid, then, if they do not mind, cancel their bid, cancel the auction and relist the item? Or is there a simpler way to fix my error?
