Does anyone else have issues with notes not coming through from Paypal on ebay orders?

Hello,

I sell personalised goods and majority of people send the info through the notes to seller section on Paypal. I am finding I am following up on nearly every second order as they don't come through at my end. It is very frustraing! Does anyone else have this issue?

We get this occasionally too.

When we ask, the buyer swears black/blue they left a note to seller.

But what we think is happening is that they are leaving the note to seller before they pay as opposed to during the actual payment process.

I think that when they then pay the note they wrote before the payment is being over-written with a blank field.

I don't have proof but this is my hunch on what it is.

It's possible they're writing the message but not hitting the ADD button to attach the message to the transaction. Some might think you just need to write it and no more. Others might just forget to hit add.
