A while ago I edited all my listings in bulk to eliminate:
Missing Targets
Off eBay links
Active Content
Insecure Links ie http (non-SSL) to https (SSL)
I also removed any additions to my descriptions and there were 2:
Selling Manager Pro (Logo and link)
Auctiva Counter (Counter and Link)
Before I ran the update via File Exchange I also revoked Auctiva's token so they couldn't repopulate my listings with their rubbish.
Now I find ALL my listings have Auctiva Counters in them and guess what; the links are insecure ie http not https
As if that's not bad enough, all the SMP Logos are back with, get this, insecure links!
Has anyone else had issues with this?
It looks like I have to repeat the exercise with File Exchange but if eBay fed me insecure links for SMP what's the point?
And how come Auctiva got to do the deed without permission?
eBay is turning into a complete shamozzle and I'm at a loss.
(also reluctant to put a few hours work into updating everything if I can't guarantee it will stay that way)
