if you are using IE get rid of it ( IE is not very compatible with ebay). Use either firefox or chrome also download the free add-on for either of those browsers called Adblock Plus it will remove all the carppy ads that slow page loads down.

I'm using Firefox now and am just about to the throw the whole computer out into the traffic!! It has been sooooooo slow for a few days now. IE isn't much better.

I'm hoping someone has an answer as I'm sure I don't!

Run a deep scan, rather than a quick one, with your AV to ensure you haven't a virus.

Then download and run Malwarebytes

Ads on the top, ads on the left, ads on the bottom, ads on the right, Popular on eBay, Featured, Collections, eBay Deals...
And not a single way to opt out of this çrap!

Just some of the reasons why eBay is so slow - Adblock Plus tries hard, but you need way more than that to bring eBay up to speed. Of course, none of this helps when eBay itself is slow (e.g. server load, glitches etc.)

Ok I will try and help it may work for you. It works for me BUT I am running a proper Registered Version Of AVG Internet Security which is the very last program I run in this Maintenance. Please remember It works for me and will take about 30 to 40 minutes to complete depending on your system.

1 Run Program Called JRT (Junkfile Removel Tool) which is a Free Download From..

    http://download.cnet.com/Junkware-Removal-Tool/3000-8022_4-75910255.html

2 Run Program Called Adwcleaner (Adware cleaner) Which is also a free download from

    http://download.cnet.com/AdwCleaner/3000-7786_4-75851221.html

Both these programs are from Malwarebytes

3 Now I run a program called Ccleaner from Piriform and again a Free Download. Please Note I do run the professional version which    I have had for 5 years and never updated because it costs to update. The free version can be downloaded from.

     https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download

To run this program  Run Analyze let the program do its job when finished click Run       Cleaner. While in the program on the left hand side you will see different options as to other maintenance you can do. I always run Registry Cleaner.

4  Now I use AVG PC Tune Up. This is NOT a Free Download but I am sure there are other programs that will do the same. at least the first 3 steps should help.

Some good tips etc on AdwCleaner on this site crowsman;-

It does seem that a new version has been made so the info from a couple of years ago may well be outdated.

It's still possible you are having ISP issues as well.
Got to a website called speedtest.net and let that run a check of your iISP internet connection. A good adsl 2+ connection should show above about 10mbps.
If it shows under 2/3 mbps then web pages will be slow to load.
Just worth checking this.

It will also be a lot slower if you use a VPN. Some are slower than others. I have one but only use it now when I'm doing something sensitive like net banking because my computer was running slower than my first ever computer witha 33.3kbs dial up connection!
