Hi,is there anyone know how some sellers selling items within Asutralia just in 2$?

The minimum cost of postage is 7.55$.

I could not understand how can i post a ring which weighs just 5-10 grams in cheaper postage ?

is it like the postage for 500 grams and 5grams costs the same?

Probably one of 3 things:-  they're actually sending from Asia, they're using the prices as loss-leaders or they're new sellers that don't have any idea about selling.

Hi.  If the parcel will be less than 2cm thick it can be sent as a large letter.  Postage for large letters depends on weight - <=125g is $2.  <=250g is $3 and up to 500g is $5.

True, but I would not send a ring in a letter.

Australia Post sells cardboard CD mailers that are promoted to be sent at letter rates.  Plenty of protection and enough room for a few layers of bubble wrap also.

I also use the plastic CD cases if something is thin enough, only minimal extra padding needed and will always go as large letter.
