sold items - how do I add that previous sold number to the relist

Hi,

I have an item that Iisted that sold 30 items. It ran out and I relisted the same item, however its now says none sold as yet .

However I would like to show that I previously sold history of 30 as this obviously encourages  buyers to purchase the said items.

If you cancelled and relisted, the quantity sold goes away.

Why didn't you just add additional quantity into the listing?

you can not manually add this.  Check your listing settings, there is an out of stock setting so that if you run out of stock the listing remains active but invisible from the ebay users.  That gives you 90 days to replenish stock and preserve your ratings and sales quantity

Good point @P9games - I had forgotten about the Out of Stock option since I set mine up years ago.

Unless things have changed,  the setting is not in the listing itself, but under Account Preferences - Selling Preferences - Multi Quantity Listings
