The WATCHED ITEMS LIST on ebay AU is malfunctioning, and has been so for over a week.
Buyers are unable to see the items they searched for and added to the Watched Items list.
This has a roll on effect for sellers as potential bidders may wait till the end to bid, but have to try to find the item all over again because of the ebay AU system error.
i have reported this to ebay but to date have only received an aknowledgement that there is a problem in the system.
I trust ebay will refund sellers their listing charges since the probelm arose.
Worst case scenario for sellers is a listing for an item worth thousand with a start price of 99c , would be bidders add it to their Watched items list to bid in the last second ( always a very risky move) but when it comes close to finishing time, buyers cannot get their Watched items list, so cannot find your item, and it sells for a mere 99c by pure chance to a live searcher.
