Recently purchased an item. When checking out, there was an offer of a free gift on the eBay website. Clicked on the link, and was directed to a short survey about Bunnings. After completing the survey (6 questions) was advised to click on a choice of 6 boxes to see if I had won a prize, clicked on a box and was advised that I had won a Makita Power Tool pack worth $280. All I had to do was confirm address and pay postage.  Only option to pay postage was to enter credit card details. For $3.  Sorry I don’t think so. Curious to know if this was legitimate or not. Just seemed to good to be true.

No

It is a scam

And already posted about a couple of times here

Including one person (who after they  had been advised it was a scam, steer clear) gave out their credit card details anyway and were scammed

Be aware if you have already gone as far as providing your other details such as email/phone/address, you can expect a lot more scam material from these and others they share scam lists with

It is nothing to do with eBay, it is a third party ad just as you'd see on any number of sites

Your identity may to some extent now be compromised.

Did any of the information have relevance to password/login hints? Did it include information that could be used to port your phone number? Be suspicious of emails or texts or phone calls claiming to be from your bank; always refuse to confirm any information in a call not initiated by you to the phone number on the back of your credit card.
