seller reselling the same item again

Hi All,

I have noticed that a seller has recently sold an item and recieved feedback for that sale.

The seller has listed the exact item again (I know this because a serial number is involved)

There is something not right here and I've tried to report this to ebay but I'm having a problem with the limited dropdowns on the "report this item" page not covering "seller selling an item already sold" 

How do I report my suspicions about this to Ebay?

BTW this is a new member with the feedback for this sale their first.

What is the item number ? With that we can have a look at the listing and give a reasoned answer.

That's interesting, both have the same item number which shouldn't happen. Below is the steps for reporting them, but when I tried to report it the system wouldn't let me because the numbers were the same ????  Best to maybe contact the seller and make them aware of the problem.

seller also has 2 Vitality 600s listed (exactly the same)

The current item number is 174275138460

The previous item number was 174275234595  for the sold item.

So the ebay item numbers are different but the serial number of the item itself is the same.

We have two different listings, one completed sale and one current listing both for the same item.

Maybe try reporting them instead, at least they have different item numbers twyn.

That's strange, I'm sure the item numbers were the same when I looked before, ah well, reported now.

That is not right, where is the protection from eBay, no security and no obligation. Sellers can play around anything as they wish.

I have lost my confidence in eBay system.

We need to do something for this dishonesty action. When we buying a item need some assurance/confidence to get the item after paid for it.
