Item listed with postage now pick up only

I bid on an item and I swear it had a price for postage because I remember doing the calculation in my head and comparing it to the price of another similar item.

Anyway I went camping for the weekend (no internet service) and when I came back I found I had won the auction, the only hitch being now the ad read "pick up only" and the seller lives in another state.

I messaged them to explain that I thought they offered postage and to ask them if they would mind posting it or we could mutually agree to cancel the sale if that was agreeable and am yet to hear back.

Im wondering what the possible outcome of this situation could be and if this has happened to anyone else. Im racking my brains trying to work out f the mistake was mine or a glitch with the app. I find it hard to believe I would make such a huge oversight as I'm basically lazy and prefer to receive my goods through the post!
