That may be correct, but if they miscalculated those costs then they may be out of pocket if they send it.

There's a big red flag there, in that the item is being sent by the Global Shipping Program, they have a terrible reputation of repacking in sub-standard packaging and often refuse to send items at all. You best bet is to look for another seller, preferably in Australia.
