Afterpay payments rejected with managed payments sellers

Any idea when this will be fixed? If a seller is on the managed payment system and the buyer buys with afterpay a few minutes after the buyer pays (and afterpay takes the first installment off them) the buyer gets an email from eBay saying the payment didn’t go through then an email from afterpay saying ebay couldn’t supply the goods and a refund will hit their account in 3-5 days. 

‘’there’s no indication which sellers are effected so the buyer has no idea until it’s too late and for weeks now ebay support has just said they’re aware of it

I couldn't say when it will be fixed, but for the time being if you want to use Afterpay and avoid sellers on managed payments, look at the payment options being offered - sellers on MP can't offer things like bank deposit, but the options will typically include GPay (which can't be offered by sellers who are on the old payment system).
