Can I leave a positive for seller when I have not received the item

I know this sounds strange, but the item has gone missing in transit and the seller has really  done everything to find it, and has refunded through PayPal the cost.

I do not want to leave them either a neutral or negative feedback.

Can I leave a positive and state that although it did not arrive, I believe that the seller did their best.

Of course you can leave positive feedback, I'm sure the seller will appreciate it.

You should do just that. That seller seems like one of the really good ones.

You can, but the seller may not want the mention you didn't get it in their feedback if you are wanting to be helpful.

It could be misunderstood.

I would maybe just put - Very helpful seller. Thank you.

Ask yourself...is the seller going to leave you feedback for a none event? it would be preferrable to not leave any feedback in this situation JMO

OP, go ahead and leave the seller a positive and I'm sure you'll receive one too.
