Cannot ship to Indonesia, vague reason given…...

I have bought 100’s of LP records from Japan over the years. Now im living in Indo and cannot buy, the following reason is given. I contacted the seller and they know nothing about it. Also, I know that these records are being allowed into Indo as I have seen them in the second hand shops.

We are sorry, but the item you selected may not be purchased due to seller shipping restrictions or due to country-specific import/export or other relevant restrictions.{e198848-779893x}

How do you know the ones you have seen in the second hand shops were imported from Australia ?

If they are restricted, they are restricted

I don't see what is vague about it?

I would suggest that the seller has excluded your country in their shipping preferences.

They may not realise they have done this.

You could ask them to check this.

I never said the ones Ive seen were imported from Australia. I see in the record shops here in Bali loads of Japanese second hand imports of Japanese pressings which means to me they are getting through somehow. So if they are restricted how are the vinyl LP shops getting them?

When you moved to Indonesia - did you take your collection with you. ??

Probably via licenced importers, or obtaining licence etc to import .

Contact  Indonesia  MOT,  but it seems a rather complicated process.

If the records are available in the second hand stores, why not just buy them there and support the local economy?
