Hi,
I really want to purchase this item and the buyer uses GSP. I just want to know of anyone who uses it. As I'm quite confused on costs. I want to know once I make the payment will import charges then be added? I know ebay's explanation says import charges will be shown in checkout. When I'm at the checkout it says there are $0.00 costs. I Just don't want to make payment then be slammed with a huge cost on top of the postage.... please advise.
Thanks!

If the item costs less than AU$1000 there will be no import charges.
If the listing is showing no costs then there will not be anything added later.
All you are paying for is the GSP shipping costs.

The AUD1.000 limit for GST/Duty free imports is the TOTAL cost of the goods on a C.I.F. basis.
That means the value of the import - cost goods + cartage + insurance + freight.

The $1000 limit is the cost of the item only.
If that is over $1000 then the duty is ayable on the item cost + the postage, insurance etc.

That last link is not so good, it tries to say all imports attract duty.
Try this one from Oz Govt.
