I opened a dispute on Ebay for non receipt of an item. There were two items on the order. I did not receive either of the items. When I went to open a dispute on the 2nd item Ebay said that there was already a case opened for the item. When I received a refund, it was only a partiial refund. So I only received a refund for one of the two items. What did I do wrong. How can I open a dispute for 2 items on the one order?
I have tried. It will not allow me to do so. It tells me that I already have a case open for the item. And I have only opened a case on the one item. It appears that the Seller will be able to give me a refund on one of the items and I will not be able to open a dispute on the other item, that was to be sent with the first item.
Has the dispute been closed? If not, escalate it when it allows (ask eBay to step in and help), and see what happens. If that fails, you have PayPal as a back up option, but DO NOT open a PayPal dispute before the eBay one is closed.
