I purchased an item more than 60 days ago. When I didn't receive the item the seller was very persuasive, apologized and said they would send another one. Now the 60 days has lapsed I can't complain even though I know this is a fraud. They sent me exactly the same email asking me "not to be angry with them" the second time I contacted them about not receiving the item

As you are aware, you have no recourse through Paypal. Which is 45 days, btw.

If the seller is in Australia you could try contacting the police online fraud site, but that will not necessarily get you your item or your money back.

Keep in mind some sellers string you out beyond 60 days so you can't leave feedback as well.

I would probably have left neg feedback at 58-59 days knowing I can revise it if for some reason the item turns up.

You may even have seen a refund from seller trying to get neg overturned.

Always check the history of a seller before buying.
