i ordered a cd storage stand i tryed canceling it but i am not sure it went through.
As the seller has not contacted me.
This order was made 10 September .
i have had no messages from him
I payed $50 for this and need it refunded
I hope you can assist me with this.

buyers cannot cancel, only sellers can
and sellers do not have to agree to cancel because someone 'changes their mind'
Nobody here can help you, it is up to the seller
And you are not allowed to name and shame on the forum

Why did you order and then want to cancel?
It is very frustrating for sellers when this happens and they are in no way obliged to cancel the transaction.
I imagine it is on its way to you - is there tracking?
When you get it, perhaps list it for sale yourself.

Perhaps you should be contacting the seller, who is no doubt expecting you to be in contact about picking up this item. The seller appears to be a new member so is probably just as unaware of the procedure as you seem to be.
Good luck although it looks like at least one person in this transaction is not going to be a happy chappie.

What should i do as i can not afford to just through away $50

I canceled the order because of the distance restriction because of the covid lockdown.
I realised it was pick up only
If it was delivery this would not be an issue.
I wanted to resolve it between the buyer and myself.
Its hard when i dont get any responce to my messages.
I would have paid for postage.
Its very frustrating.
But can only blame myself.
What can i do.

I think they can, but for a very limited time (an hour), and if the seller hasn't sent the item yet.

It would be nice to hear from this guy.
I have had no messages from him.
If i went to pick it up i would not know where to go coz he has not contacted me.
Id be willing to pay postage
If he would contact me we could at least come to some arrangement.

Buyers cannot cancel orders.
If the seller is not responding, then open a case right now for "Item Not Received". This will get you your money refunded after a few days.
For whatever reason, the seller does not want to contact you - if it was an auction, they might feel the price was not high enough. Even if they are upset that you wanted to cancel, they cannot keep your money and the item - they either need to refund you or make a plan for you to pick up, which they are not doing.
