Regular posters, is there any point to Watchcount?
The name implies that I can see how many watchers are on an item up for
auction, once it has a bid.
This function has not been available for months now.
It's very frustrating.
Or am I the only person who gives a rat's?
And does anybody care anymore? Did it lose it's popularity when we could no longer
see who bought what?

I think a lot lost interest after that feature was removed. I don't think I've looked at it much since then.

I was under the impression that Watchcount was no longer usable for ebay.
However, I must admit I have never used it for any purpose other than to clarify some of the obtuse questions asked on the boards.
When it was available the advice given was much more succinct without all the waffling of "if this happened then the answer is....."
or "if that happened then the answer is....."

You can also use it to find what something sold for when an offer is accepted.
I think that's a good feature.
But I really miss not knowing how many peeps are watching what I wanna bid on.

The watch count is still there for BIN listings,I can see how many are watching an item I'm interested in

I do BIN only. I know how many watchers I have, if any, but am a lot more interested in how many sales I get. 95%+ of my sales have no watchers, so you can understand my ennui.
