It's in Sydney!

Remember a few weeks back there was a certain buyer who purchased an item from the USA and then started harassing the seller for a refund because it was either lost, never sent, or stolen, despite tracking evidence to the contrary?

That item showed up in Sydney today.

Re: It's in Sydney!

We had a wholesale order coming from our supplier in China by sea freight sent several months ago... we think it's at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean somewhere off Sydney with all the others ?

No use asking TOLL as their system has gone pear shaped once more !

Where are you getting this information though? The tracking for my CD still says it is sitting in Miami even though it was delivered yesterday, and the OP's tracking shows Miami also. I'm using the USPS.com website.

Re: It's in Sydney!

I meant the OP of the original thread.

Just checked their tracking on the Aust Post website and it is indeed in Sydney. Their tracking had a prefix of LZ.

My CD had a prefix of UA which is not recognised on the Aust Post website.

You're right - that came across as harsh - it wasn't intended that way, and I apologise.

Supposedly the UA prefix indicates a letter post item that's not traced - once it leaves the USA it's off the system.  The LZ (and other L-something prefixes) do have tracing because they're classified as parcels instead of letters (I think). It would seem to make sense as your CD is flat while the item was something thicker.
