I paid for an item on 31 March which was not received by the estimated date 15 April. Emailed seller about nonreceipt. Received email 16 May promising it within 10 days. When I tried again to contact seller received message "attempting to communicate about an invalid item". What do I do next? How do I access eBay's guarantee?

You are past the limit for eBay's MBG (30 days past the final ETA), so your only solution is to go through Paypal's resolution centre.

Ebay's guarantee is only for 30 days after the due date so that has gone out the window but you can still open a case in PayPal if that's the payment option that you went with?

You can certainly open a PayPal dispute at this stage.
If you want to tell the seller something, just click on "Contact" and then tick "This is not about an item", as I guess that listing is not available any more.
